History time kids! Yes yes I know, sounds boring. But trust me- this is interesting. Mostly because of the weird things they wore... So here ya go, the history of the 70's fashion:
Crawl neck sweater: Pant suits: platform shoes... yuck | Most popular material: Polyester... Shoes: platform shoes, high cut boots fit: Tight fitting clothing, low cut pants, excellent blend of hippy and mods. No more bell bottoms!! Commonly worn was pant suits, and track suit, lots of different suits... Men wore stripped V- necks, and woman, cowl neck sweaters, and oddly, robes and tunics. colours: bright colours, by 1979 though, it turned into earth tones, greys and blacks. ------------------------------------------------------- The 1970's started off bright and colorful, with tight fitting pants for both men and woman. Pant suits were also often worn! As well as platform shoes... Woman wore dresses that looked similar to robes, which made it hard to tell if it was ment to be worn inside just at home, or out and about...! They also wore midi skirts that came in all different lengths, from between the knee and ankle. thats just a little insight of the 70's style for ya. Thanks for reading, ttyl- dom |
